Day 2 of being on the skinny jab and I think it is working, maybe, kind of.
Breakfast
I wasn’t feeling overly hungry so for breakfast I had a banana. Nothing more to say, just a regular banana. 81 calories.
Lunch
Still not overly hungry and wanting to be sensible I make a homemade soup for lunch and pair it with a couple of thin bagels. The soup wasn’t exactly the same as my recipe because I didn’t have all the ingredients so the calories are slightly lower than I have accounted for, but not enough so to be worth the hassle of figuring it out. After the soup I have a pack of mini cheddars. Lunch comes to 495 calories.
Dinner
For dinner I get close to a Sunday dinner without eating a weeks worth of calories, dauphinoise potatoes with butter basted chicken breast and peas. This is another one where calories that I actually ate are lower than recorded because we took the skin off of the chicken breast joint, but it’s probably not enough to be fussing about. We’ll call it 559 calories.
Snacks
I had a cheesestring mid afternoon, mainly because I like them than actually being hungry, maybe I’ll not get them when I do shopping next week. After dinner I treat myself to a protein chocolate pudding and it is definitely 148 calories well spent. Combined snacks comes to 208 calories.
Exercise
This last week I have been rubbish about walking Darby. I know it is something I need to learn to be better at, but the kids being off school just throws everything off. Anyway, I take Darby for an early morning walk before anyone else is up. There is nobody else around, I think we only see one car go past in the whole time we are out. With it being so quiet it means we get the park all to ourselves which means no kids playing that Darby wants to join in with so we get full use of his new extendable lead and he sniffs pretty much every square inch of the park. Not the best walk we’ve ever had, Darby pulled probably 80% of the way, but that’s more my fault than his, he was just excited to be out. Anyway, 446 calories burnt to start the day.
