Today I get the joy of a pre-breakfast treat, my very first dose of mounjaro, the skinny jab. After a week off of the diet and having seen the weight I put on, it is definitely a case of back on it today.
Breakfast
I say bye to the cheat week with what feels like a complete cheat, or at least it was if it was a proper portion and not a portion for ants. Skinny Crunch Choco Hoops, possibly the best cereal in the world. It is basically low calories chocolate cereal hoops with lucky charms style mini marshmallows. As always I have BOB milk, which I genuinely think everyone should give a try. We use the skimmed that tastes like semi-skimmed and I can honestly say it is like semi, but low in calories. Anyway, a portion (as stated on the box) of cereal and milks starts the day off with 157 calories.
Lunch
We are heading out to a charity football match today and I know full well from previous experience that the only healthy option for food at the stadium is to go hungry, so in the interest of not starving and also not grabbing something unhealthy at the football I opt for an early lunch. I go for a couple of corned beef sandwiches using thins, no butter, probably the saddest corned beef sandwich ever made. I also have a cheesestring and a packet of seabrook cheese and onion crisps. All in it sets me back 642 calories.
Dinner
Be warned, if you end up in an NHS waiting room for what seems to be hours, with no headphones and limited phone battery you too may end up with vietnamese rice paper in your food cupboard. Damn you daytime TV. I cooked up some chicken and we prepared some spring rolls before we went out. I say spring rolls but the reality is some were chicken and cheese, some were chicken and peppers, some had cucumber, some were a mix of everything. Basically we threw a few things together to see how they would turn out. Once prepped they went into the fridge to be baked once we got home from the football. Honestly, they didn’t turn out quiet as expected so dinner was a hodgepodge of things meaning accurately tracking calories wasn’t doable.
Snacks
After the football I had a pack of mini cheddars just to keep me going until dinner was ready, and after dinner I had a cadbury delights bar bringing the calorie total for snack to 210.
