Progress After 23 Weeks

I just noticed that it has been 160 days since I started this blog, which is near enough 23 weeks. Initially, the main goal was to lose 170.7lbs, which would be enough to put me under 30 BMI.

In those 160 days I have lost 56.7lbs, which is as near as damn it 1/3 of the goal. I’m greedy (hence why I got not to the size of a house but the size of a small town), I wish that number was bigger, but being realistic, it’s not bad. I’m under no illusion, whilst I am 1/3 of the way there with my weight, I know I am probably nowhere near 1/3 of the journey in time. Plus I want to lose a little extra so that I can go and earn myself an F1 contract, it’s time to hang up your helmet Fernando Alonso, this young whippersnapper is ready to take your spot, on the grid, not at Aston Martin, Aston Martin suck.

EDIT: Time for a bit of maths, yay. When I started this blog I needed to lose 1.75lbs per week to reach my goal by my 40th birthday. Updating the number, from now I need to lose 1.52lbs per week to be under 30 BMI by the time I am 40. I need to try to remember this when I get disappointed at losing 3.5lbs
