354lbs
Where do I start? It’s been a crazy couple of weeks, both good and bad, and there has been plenty of opportunity to go off the rails, either through temptation and convenience or through stress and comfort eating.
On 4th August I weighed-in at 361.7lbs, so in two weeks I am down 7.7lbs, which is give or take the average that I have been losing lately, but it’s a little more complicated than that. Five days later I weighed in at 358.4lbs, then on the 11th I was back up at 361.9lbs. We had been away for the weekend, in an environment where we couldn’t take our own food, and there wasn’t anything overly healthy on offer. On top of that, on the Sunday we were sat out in the blazing sun all day, so we ended up having a couple of bits from the ice cream van in an effort to cool down. I knew the weekend was coming and was prepared for the scales to say I had put weight on, but it was still a disappointment.
Despite a few days where I could have very easily turned to comfort food, we have done really well this past week, and as a result I have managed to lose everything that I gained, and then some. I am down 7.9lbs in the last week. We’ve still been busy, we’ve had days out, we’ve had long car journeys, we’ve stayed in a hotel, all things that would have caused issues in the past, but now we’ve managed to not let it cause us massive problems. Sure, we could have eaten better if we were at home doing nothing, but for the situations we have been in I don’t think we did too bad.
Next up is 350lbs, which I would love to be under the next time I weigh-in. Whether I will be or not I can’t be confident either way, especially with the mounjaro drama ongoing and the likely outcome, I’ll just do what I can, stick to the plan, and whatever will be will be.
