Right, I’ve got a few days to write up here so I’m going to keep them short and sweet. Whilst my diet hasn’t been completely terrible lately there is definitely room for improvement.
Breakfast
I didn’t get around to getting breakfast today. No particular reason for it, I’m not trying to starve myself or anything, just by the time I got around to thinking about food it was nearly lunch, so I figured sod it, save the calories so I can have something a bit more substantial for lunch.
Lunch
Having extra calories available and having bagels that need eating is a recipe for happiness. I toast a couple of bagels, slice some mature cheddar and assemble, skipping the butter because afterall I am on a diet. Pair the yummy bagels with a pack of cheetos and we have a decent lunch for 600 calories.
Dinner
I probably should have thought about what we were having for dinner before I made my lunch, but it’s too late to worry about it now, I’ll just count it as a lesson for the future. I end up having too much bread today because dinner is protein (Mc)muffins, using HECK chicken sausages and turkey bacon. I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy them. I just need to remember, avoid having bread at every meal. Anyway, 822 calories for what feels like a naughty dinner.
Snacks
A lot of things that are labeed as protein puddings are either stupidly expensive, or taste like crap. Arla protein chocolate pudding is one of the exceptions. It’s not quite the other one that I was having that reminded me of angel delight, but it still tastes great. 148 calories.
Exercise
I didn’t get any real form of exercise in today. We planned to go to the gym but decided we could both benefit from an early night.
