I’ll be honest, I’m not entirely sure how it has happened. I weighed myself three times, even moving the scales to another spot to make sure it wasn’t something weird going on with the scales or the floor, and each time it gave the same result. I knew coming home from holiday I would drop a chunk of what I had gained pretty quick, given the amount of swelling, water retention, etc. But, we were in Egypt for 10 days, I’ve had takeaway and an Easter egg since being home. I had some amazing tandoori chicken yesterday after having already eaten all my meals for the day. I would have been happy if I dropped half of what I had gained by the time I started taking it seriously again. It’s not half, in 5 days not only have I lost everything that I gained from holiday, but I am actually below what I last weighed before going on holiday. The moral of this story? I need to go back to Egypt!
